It is hard to trust the ODU Monarchs as they have been crushed in their two games against FBS opponents so far, plus they have also not been a great home team of late as you can see from the trends above. OD didn't play last year and they were 1-11 the year prior and it does not appear that they will be much better this year. ODU can stop the pass, but teams have been able to run on them and that is where Buffalo excels as they are 17th in the nation in that department so far. I just do not see the Monarchs putting up enough points to keep this one close and Buffalo is very good at rushing the ball.
Expect a blowout in this one!
