Notre Dame's defense will key on Cincinnati and their 220lb banger, Jerome Ford - and if they get Kevin Austin down the field more - it may open the running game more for the Irish to take advantage. Notre Dame's defense cannot play average, at home, the crowd will be bananas and they will be ready to fire on all cylinders.



Cincinnati's play is solid as they are young and fast. Their unit has some great potential - but they dont always stay with WRs great and lack some meanness with their safeties. They also commit a lot of penalties. One way to achieve improvement is making the Notre Dame WRs have to move, if they get to just cruise their routes - that's never good.


Fighting Irish are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 games as a home underdog and ND is playing better each week and playing at home I love them in this spot Saturday afternoon.
