Miami is playing with playoff revenge after getting swept in the playoffs last season.
The Heat made their move by picking up veteran all-star point guard Kyle Lowry. It remains to be seen how he looks in a Miami uniform, but at the very least he’ll provide extra offense and veteran leadership to Tyler Herro. Milwaukee was banged up in their first game, losing Jrue Holiday in the second half. They were already missing guard Donte DiVincenzo (ankle) and forward Bobby Portis (hamstring) two days ago. All players are listed as game-time decisions, and for that reason, Miami is the pick here. Kyle Lowry should be dazzling in his Heat debut, especially without the defensive prowess of Holiday around. Coupled with their home crowd I look for Miami to steal one at home against the champs and cover the number.
