Geno Smith completed 23 of 32 passes for 209 yards and a touchdown in his first start in nearly four years last week against the Steelers. Alex Collins ran for 101 yards while filling in for injured starter Chris Carson, the first 100-yard rushing game by a Seahawk since Dec. 15, 2018. The two fill-in starters played well, but Seattle is a different offense without their franchise quarterback behind center.
If they can’t find a way to run the ball, it won’t be a pretty game for Geno. For that reason, expect this to be a grind-it-out game with both sides trying to establish the run. The total number has gone under in 11 of Seattle’s last 15 games. Look for a lot of rush attempts and screens for both teams chewing up the clock.
