Point guard Foster Loyer transferred to Davidson after Tom Izzo brought in Tyson Walker to replace him. Now Loyer leads a Wildcats team that shoots 48% overall and 38% from deep (8th nationally). He'll be plenty motivated to face the Spartans who are having a down season with 12 losses on the season MSU could be without Walker, who sprained his ankle Saturday. Michigan State's other point guard, A.J. Hoggard, will play but also is dinged up. I like the Davidson Wildcats here to knock off Mich St and advance with their veteran led squad.
