LeBron James made national headlines on Saturday in Washington, D.C., when he moved past former Utah Jazz great Karl Malone into second place on the NBA's all-time scoring list. Then he went and put up a triple double in his home town on Cleveland.
The Lakers, on the other hand, are having a poor season marred by poor defensive efforts and incredibly inconsistent three-point shooting. They hold the ninth seed and will likely make the play-in tournament, but they are not an efficient bunch at this point of the year. Philadelphia has a good chance to close the gap with Milwaukee facing a Lakers team that is 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games.
