The Boston College Eagles have developed into a tough and gritty team with a nasty streak under new head coach Bill O'Brien. Although they suffered a 20-point loss on the road against SMU, they scored well and narrowly missed covering the spread. Their upcoming opponents, the Tar Heels, are playing better and winning games, but they haven't been consistent in covering the spread. In what is likely to be a poor rather game in the rain I expect plenty of running from both teams, I favor the home Eagles, who possess a stronger rush defense.
