The Deion-coached Colorado Buffaloes got upset by Kansas last week, who is making a habit of upsetting ranked teams. The worst part of the loss is that they just got beaten down physically. Kansas was just more challenging, and the Buffs could not tackle. I feel that Deion laid into his team during his post-game press conference, and this week's practices will be very uncomfortable for the players. They need a convincing win in this spot now that they dropped that game to Kansas, and I expect they will come with a much better effort in this game.
The Oklahoma State Cowboys have been awful and have no wins in conference play. That trend likely continues here in this game. If the Cowboys had a power running g game, they could probably make this game enjoyable, but they don’t. They are heavily reliant and throw the ball on offense at 13th 13th-highest rate in FBS. That’s a problem because they likely have a Heisman Trophy winner playing defensive back and being a ball hawk.
