Anderson is 1-0 with a 3.31 ERA, a 1.225 WHIP, 11 walks and 17 strikeouts over 16.1 innings in three career starts against the Nationals. On the flip side, Patrick Corbin continues to struggle as he is just 4-11 with a 5.70 ERA, a 1.669 WHIP, 33 walks, 83 strikeouts and a league-high 125 hits allowed in 94.2 innings of work. He lost to Atlanta Saturday, dropping him to 6-9 with a 4.07 ERA, a 1.446 WHIP, 42 walks and 102 strikeouts over 101.2 innings in 19 career appearances, 17 starts, against the Braves. Washington is just 27th in runs per game (3.84) this season and they are 26th at home (3.66) entering Thursday's action.
