San Francisco rallied from 5-0 down to lead 6-5 against the Dodgers Thursday night before giving up four in the eighth to lose 9-6. That was with Carlos Rodon on the mound and they had Logan Webb going Friday. It's a steep drop in skill level Saturday as former Dodger Alex Wood taking the hill for the visitors. Meanwhile, Julio Urias has been white hot for the Dodgers of late and he gets the call in this one for the hosts. Urias is 5-0 with a 3.06 ERA, seven walks and 38 strikeouts over 32.1 innings of work in his last six starts. The Dodgers have won each of those and opposing hitters have mustered a measly .200/.260/.325 slash line against him in those outings. Given the way Los Angeles has been clicking and with an edge on the mound, backing the squad from the City of Angels is the sound way to go.
