Best Bet - Atlanta Braves -192
(MLB) LA Angels vs. Atlanta,
Money Line: -192.00 Atlanta (Home)
Result: Win
The Angels have been awful over the last couple months and it's hard to see things magically turn around at this point in time. Mike Trout is on the IL with a rib issue and he won't be around to help out the Angels' offense in this contest. After getting drubbed 8-1 in the opener with Shohei Ohtani on the mound, it's tough to like the Angels with anyone else pitching. Patrick Sandoval has been decent enough for the Angels, posting a 2.95 ERA over 76.1 innings in 14 starts, but he's winless in his last seven starts dating back to May 22. What makes things worse is that the team is only 1-6 in those outings, making things bleak when it comes to trying to back them here. Kyle Wright is 4-0 in his last five starts and 7-1 in his last nine starts. Atlanta has been an above-average offensive team this season, ranking fourth in the majors with 4.74 runs per game on the year. The Braves are fifth in runs per game at home entering Friday with 4.80 runs per game. Wright shuts down the Angels' makeshift lineup and the Braves' bats take care of the rest to deliver a victory for the home team.
