Hamilton Tiger-Cats -145
(CFL) Montreal vs. Hamilton,
Money Line: -145.00 Hamilton (Home)
Result: Win
It's not every day we talk about the CFL but with a light MLB schedule, why not diversify a little bit? Montreal comes off a high-scoring 40-33 victory on the road over Ottawa last week while Hamilton battled before falling on short rest by a 17-12 margin to British Columbia. With that said, the Tiger-Cats did cover the line in that game, giving them their first cover of the season. Montreal has the better record at 2-4 to Hamilton's 1-5 but the Ti-Cats are playing better ball of late. Hamilton's biggest problem early in the season was the fact that they turned the ball over far too often. Hamilton has cleaned that up a bit of late and Dane Evans is second in the league in passing yards per game. Meanwhile, Montreal's pass defense is the worst in the league. Offensively, the Alouettes have to deal with a Ti-Cats defense that is pretty stiff and who can get off the field. Montreal has allowed at least 30 points in three straight games and four of their last six. Hamilton takes advantage of Montreal's deficient defense and gets the win at home.
