Milwaukee Brewers -160
(MLB) Milwaukee vs. Boston,
Money Line: -160.00 Milwaukee (Away)
Result: Win
Fading the Red Sox has been the trendy play in the month of July and it's paid dividends for bettors. Boston entered Thursday just 6-17 in the month of July with a -76 run differential, dropping them into the basement of the AL East race. It's unclear if the Red Sox will make any moves before the trade deadline but they are definitely trending in the wrong direction. With Chris Sale on the shelf again, that means Brayan Bello, who has been awful at the big-league level this season. Bello is 0-2 with a 10.50 ERA, a 2.50 WHIP, eight walks and nine strikeouts over 12 innings in his three starts. Milwaukee is battling to hang on to the NL Central lead and they get to send Brandon Woodruff to the hill here. Woodruff is 3-0 with a 1.57 ERA, a 1.046 WHIP, nine walks and 39 strikeouts over 28.2 innings in his last five starts. With a lousy pitcher on the mound and no momentum to speak of, you have to give the edge to the visitors.
