Toronto Blue Jays -155
(MLB) Toronto vs. Minnesota,
Money Line: -155.00 Toronto (Away)
Result: Win
This is all about the pitching matchup when you get right down to it. Kevin Gausman gets the call for Toronto in the finale of this set and he's probably the unluckiest .500 pitcher in the majors. When you look at his record and see an 8-8 mark, you're like "meh" but the peripherals show his misfortunes. He's got a 3.06 ERA though he leads the league in FIP ERA (2.01) on the season. If he got more consistent run support, he probably could have 12 or 13 wins. As it stands, he has four losses where he allowed two earned runs or less while throwing at least 5.2 innings. Gausman is opposed by Chris Archer, who has yet to get an out in the sixth inning in ANY start this season. That puts a lot of pressure on a bullpen that hasn't been all that great this season. It's a clear fade of Archer and that's something that is worth following. Take the Blue Jays on the road in this contest.
