Toronto entered Monday holding the top wild card spot in the American League, two games ahead of Seattle and Tampa Bay, while they were four games clear of Baltimore and Cleveland to remain on the right side of the playoff cut line. The Blue Jays have 14 games left with Baltimore over the final two months of the season and they send their ace of the rotation, Alek Manoah, to the hill in this contest. Manoah struggled in his lone career start at Oriole Park at Camden Yards but has won three of his last four starts. Meanwhile, Kyle Bradish is on the hill for the Orioles and he has been horrid this season. He had one excellent start, where he fanned 11 Cardinals, but has been dismal the rest of the year. The Orioles have exceeded expectations but expecting them to dent Manoah and keep the Toronto offense in check. Manoah bottles up Baltimore's lineup and the Blue Jays get the victory.
