Texas led 4-0 early on Tuesday night and had their ace, Martin Perez, on the mound yet were unable to sustain that advantage. Instead, it was the Astros rallying for a 7-5 victory to draw first blood in the series. If that wasn't bad enough, Justin Verlander, who leads the majors with 15 wins and a sub-two ERA, is on the mound in this contest for the Astros. Throw in that the Rangers are a pathetic 3-26 (that's not a typo, they've won three of the last 29 meetings at Minute Maid Park) in the last few seasons in H-town and there's no reason to like their chances here. Glenn Otto was solid in his last start but still took the loss against the White Sox. Verlander does the job and earns win #16 as the Astros roll to the victory to make it 27 wins in the last 30 meetings at Minute Maid Park.
