BC Lions -5 (-115)
(CFL) BC vs. Saskatchewan,
Point Spread: -5.00 | -115.00 BC (Away)
Result: Win
BC won one of the wildest games in recent memory in the CFL, rallying from a 40-31 deficit in the last five minutes to win 41-40 on the road over Calgary. The Lions have just one loss on the season and that came against Winnipeg, a team that was unbeaten before falling to Montreal last week. Saskatchewan had dropped three straight before beating Edmonton 34-23 last week but the game was closer than the final score indicated. The RoughRiders took the lead late in the fourth quarter, then got a pick of the Elks to give them the ball in plus territory. Saskatchewan lined up for a field goal but got a first down when the Elks were called for pyramiding, allowing them to sustain the drive, which they capped with a touchdown to put the game out of reach. That kind of struggle against a bad team like Edmonton doesn't bode well against a team whose only loss was to the top team in the CFL. Nathan Rourke and the Lions get the job done on the road and cover the line as they win by at least a touchdown.
