Toronto has the edge of having had Thursday off while the Brewers finished up a four-game set at home with the Cardinals in a battle of the top two teams in the NL Central. Alek Manoah has been nothing short of spectacular on the bump for the Blue Jays, sporting an 8-2 record with a 2.00 ERA and 73 whiffs over 81 innings. In his two losses, Toronto was shut out so there wasn't much he could do about that. Fortunately for the Blue Jays, they face Adrian Houser, who was 0-5 in a seven start stretch before beating the Reds his last time out. The Brewers are only a middle of the road team offensively and their bullpen saw their top three guys get used Thursday. Look for Manoah to do his part and the Blue Jays' bats to do the rest.
