Houston has yet to give up a run in this series, winning the opener 4-0 Monday night and following that up with a 5-0 blanking of Tampa Bay Tuesday night. The Astros now go for the sweep with Lance McCullers Jr. on the mound in the finale. McCullers Jr. has been rock solid, going 3-1 with a 2.34 ERA, a 1.27 WHIP, 19 walks and 37 strikeouts over 34.2 innings in his six starts on the year. As he continues to get back up to speed, one has to think the control will improve, leading to a decrease in the free passes. Corey Kluber has lost his last two starts after three straight wins, giving up 10 runs on 17 hits with no walks and six strikeouts over 6.1 innings of work. With the Rays failing to put a run on the board in either contest in the series, Kluber has a razor-thin margin of error. That proves to be too steep a hill to climb as Houston sweeps the series.
