Philadelphia Eagles -6.5 (-110)
(NFL) Philadelphia vs. Washington,
Point Spread: -6.50 | -110.00 Philadelphia (Away)
Result: Win
Philadelphia has looked terrific offensively in the first two games of the season and the defense took big steps forward with Monday night's win over the Vikings. The Eagles have been able to do damage through the air as Jalen Hurts is 44 of 63 for 576 yards with a touchdown and an interception, in addition to the ground. Philadelphia has found the end zone six times on the ground with Miles Sanders (176 yards, TD) and Hurts (147 yards, three TD) leading the way for a run game that has averaged 5.2 yards per carry on the year. Washington has ex-Eagle Carson Wentz under center and while he's made some plays in the passing game, he's been sacked six times and picked on three occasions. The Commanders' run game has struggled as they have averaged just 86.5 yards per game this season. Washington's defense hasn't looked sharp either, surrendering 22 points to the Jaguars and then 36 to the Lions where they were gashed for 191 yards on the ground. Philadelphia has to be licking their chops to take advantage of the Commanders' defense. The Eagles run their record to 3-0 with a convincing triumph.
