We've seen a truckload of runs in the first two games of this series. Each of the two contests saw a total of 22 runs on the board with the losing team scoring at least eight while the winner was in double digits. That continued a trend when these teams have met this season. In the 17 games between them this season, they are separated by only one run with the Orioles owning a 99-98 edge on the scoreboard. That gives a total of 197 runs in those games or an average of 11.59 runs per game in those meetings. Eight of those games have given us a minimum of 10 runs after Tuesday's explosion. The pitching matchup leaves something to be desired as Rich Hill continues to struggle. He has given up at least four runs in four of his five starts in September, pitching to a 5.96 ERA in that span. Dean Kremer has been good, giving up three runs or less in each of his last eight starts. However, he is 0-3 with a 7.23 ERA, a 1.607 WHIP, seven walks and 15 strikeouts over 18.2 innings in four career starts against the Red Sox. Both teams have fried bullpens as none of the four guys to start a game have made it out of the fourth inning in this series. This is another offensive bonanza with the wind blowing out to right center at Fenway Park. Look for this game to end up over the total as well.
