Miami Marlins -125
(MLB) Miami vs. St. Louis,
Money Line: -125.00 Miami (Away)
Result: Win
We've seen the Cardinals take the first two games of this series as they battered Pablo Lopez in the opener Monday night before rallying to earn a 5-3 win Tuesday night. With that said, St. Louis has to run into a guy they once traded away in the trade that brought Marcell Ozuna to the Gateway City. As an aside, do you think the Cardinals wish they had what they gave up in that deal? Zac Gallen, Daniel Castano and Sandy Alcantara would slot nicely into the Redbirds' rotation right about now. Alcantara took the loss in his last outing, which came against the Mets, but is still 7-3 with a 1.95 ERA and a 0.95 WHIP in a league-high 106.1 innings of work. Meanwhile, the Cardinals have to counter with Andre Pallante, who has just four major league starts and a FIP ERA (4.28) that is more than double his actual ERA (2.03) on the year. St. Louis has home field advantage and a solid lineup but the Marlins have the advantage on the mound. Alcantara shuts down the Cardinals and the Marlins' bats give him the support to earn the win in this one.
