Syracuse was absolutely abysmal their last time out as they were destroyed by Pitt in a game where Kyle McCord threw not one, not two but THREE pick-sixes...in the first half. The Orange has done the majority of their damage offensively through the air but they face a tough Hokies defense that holds opposing QBs to a 53.9% completion percentage on the year. Virginia Tech has forced 15 turnovers while Syracuse has coughed it up 11 times, all on McCord interceptions. The Hokies will use their run game, anchored by Bhayshul Tuten, who has 142 carries for 951 yards and 12 scores on the year. Throw in the dual-threat versatility of Kyron Drones against a beat-up Orange defense and the Hokies prevail here on the road.
