We’re looking at two teams trending in different directions at this point of the season. After starting 1-3, Minnesota has won four straight games, including a win over the same USC team that just drubbed Rutgers. Meanwhile, the Scarlet Knights started the year 4-0 but enters with four straight losses on the board. Even having two weeks to prepare for this game won’t help Rutgers, especially if Monagai can’t go or is limited at all. Minnesota is clicking right now and they have a stingy defense that has helped carry them. Rutgers doesn’t bowl anyone over offensively and that proves to be the difference as the Golden Gophers make it five straight wins.
