Give Pete Lembo credit. He took over a Buffalo squad that was dismal after the Maurice Linguist era and has put the team into bowl eligibility as they enter this game 6-4 overall and 4-2 in the MAC. They rallied from 14 down to beat Ball State in overtime last week and now get an Eastern Michigan team that is going the wrong way. The Eagles have dropped three straight, averaging only 19.7 points per game in that stretch, and come in off a 35-10 beating by Ohio last week. Throw in that Eastern Michigan represented Akron's only MAC win before the Zips clipped Kent State Tuesday and it has the Eagles grounded. Buffalo's ground game and stout defense helps them get the road win here.
