St. Louis Cardinals -145
(MLB) St. Louis vs. Philadelphia,
Money Line: -145.00 St. Louis (Away)
Result: Loss
The Phillies finished their four-game set with the Braves with an emphatic win, battering Atlanta 14-4 in a rare offensive outburst in support of Aaron Nola. Philadelphia's problem here is that they won't have one of their top options like Nola or Zack Wheeler on the mound for this contest. Instead, it's Bailey Falter, who has as many major league wins this season as you, which, unless you have a major league career that I'm unfamiliar with, would be zero. In his three starts, he is 0-1 with a 4.26 ERA that could be worse had he not given up three unearned runs over 14.2 innings in that stretch. Miles Mikolas is just 1-2 in his last four starts but he has quality outings in each of those contests and has allowed a total of six runs (five earned) over 29 innings of work. The Cardinals had Thursday off to stew after a ninth-inning defeat at home to the Marlins and should have their regular lineup to work with in this contest. Mikolas keeps the ball in the park while the Cardinals get their bats going to deliver a win for the visitors.
