Houston Astros -150
(MLB) NY Yankees vs. Houston,
Money Line: -150.00 Houston (Home)
Result: Win
We backed Houston in Game 1, knowing that the Yankees were worn out after playing Tuesday at home before hopping a flight to the Lone Star State. One of the fun props that we had in that one which cashed was Justin Verlander over 6.5 strikeouts at +190 as he fanned 11 in six innings. After a slow start, the Astros got the long ball going in the late stages to earn a 4-2 win to take the opener. Things don't get a whole lot easier for the Yankees here as they send Luis Severino to face Framber Valdez, the king of quality starts. New York's bullpen had to do some heavy lifting again in Game 1 as Jameson Taillon went only 4.1 innings before getting pulled despite only throwing 67 pitches. Houston is at home, they still have plenty of live arms in the bullpen and they have the momentum of Game 1 in their back pocket. Take the Astros here to take a 2-0 series lead.
