THE INSIDERS ROOM'S 10* VERY EARLY RUN LINE ULTIMATE BLOWOUT!
(MLB) Cincinnati vs. Detroit,
Point Spread: 1.50 | -105.00 Detroit (Home)
Result: Push
Point Spread: 1.50 | -105.00 Detroit (Home)
Result: Push
This is a 10* RUN-LINE BLOWOUT on the Detroit Tigers.
The Reds are 2-5 and the Tigers are 5-3. Detroit continues to get little respect and I think that it'll at the very least, keep this one close until the final moments.
Trevor Bauer is 0-0 with a 1.42 ERA for the Reds after posting 13 K's over six innings vs. these very Tigers last Sunday. Note though that Detroit rallied for a 3-2 win in that one. Overall Bauer is 10-6 with a poor 5.11 ERA vs. the Tigers.
Michael Fulmer is 0-0 with a 13.50 ERA. Fulmer looked shaky in his opening start vs. the Royals, allowing three home runs:
"It wasn't the Cinderella comeback story I was hoping for," Fulmer said afterwards. "I was a little rusty, obviously. But, not to make excuses. I felt ready. I need to do a better job the next time out."
Fulmer has faced the Reds once and he allowed three runs over six innings.
The game time has been changed from 3 EST to 1 EST and I believe those types of "off field" changes always favor the home side as well.
Outright victory?! Very possible. In the end though, let's lay the short price for the extra 1.5 runs of insurance.
Good luck, NP
