The A's lost 4-3 last night, as the D-Backs came from behind in the bottom of the ninth to keep their hot streak going and to end Oakland's.
But now the A's have the superior starting pitcher on the mound and I expect them to make a quick return to the winners circle tonight.
Frankie Montas (2-1, 1.57 ERA) has a 1.00 WHIP and 22:9 K:BB over 23 innings of work this year for Oakland.
Luke Weaver (0-3, 11.85) has a 2.12 WHIP and allowed four runs over 3.1 innings in a no-decision vs. the Rockies in his last outing.
I think Montas is a "steal" at this price!
