This is a 10* TOP-SHELF ASSASSIN on the OVER Flyers/Islanders.
Game 1 went UNDER in New York's 4-0 win. Philadelphia had a 3-0 lead late over New York in Game 2, but then it uncharacteristically once again fell apart down the stretch and conceded three goals late, before then salvaging a 4-3 victory in OT.
Both teams can score and both teams can play defense. The goaltenders are a "wash" in my opinion.
So why will Game 3 go OVER like Game 2?
I believe the extra time between games benefits each team's offense here. Also note that New York has seen the total go OVER the number in seven of its last nine following a loss in OT in which it conceded four or more goals in.
I think this one will go OVER the number sooner, rather than later!
