This is a 10* WEST-CONF TOTAL OF THE MONTH on the UNDER Avs/Stars.

This series has seen a lot of scoring, but I believe that trend is going to get broken in Game 6.

The Stars failed to put away the Avs in Game 5, with Colorado quickly rebounding in the second game of the back to back scenario to secure the 6-3 victory. The Avs went up 5-0 in the first period though and then went into cruise control.

This has been an unpredictable series to this point, but I think that Game 6 absolutely finally sets up as a lower-scoring affair.

These were two of the best defensisve clubs in the league in the regular season and I expect that part of their game to be the main story line in tomorrow's summaries.

This is a common sense play, but also note that the Stars have seen the total go UNDER the number in seven of their last nine after allowing six or more goals in a three goal or greater loss in their previous outing.

This number is high, the play is the under!
