The only way that South Alabama can go this season is "up" after a 2-10 campaign last year.
Jaguars' QB Desmond Trotter wasn't horrible in 2019, with 820 yards, eight TD's and only two INT's.
South Alabama's defense is going to be improved, but I still think it'll have its hands full here with Southern Miss, which finished 7-6 last season.
USM returns senior QB Jack Abraham, who had 3946 passing yards, 19 TD's and 15 INT's. He'll be complimented by senior RB Kevin Perkins.
Both teams feature solid offensive lines, so I expect these two hungry and talented QB's to be the main focal points in this contest.
