"Lucky" bounces are a part of sports. At this point though, the old saying that "you have to be good to be lucky" applies to the Canadiens anyways.
Is Las Vegas the better overall team? Probably. The oddsmakers absolutely believe that's the case. The general betting public believes that for sure. Most American's would also believe that the Knights are pretty much the best team in the league.
And all of this leads me to beleive that Las Vegas is just over-priced here still. The Canadiens need to be judged on their numbers in the playoffs, not during the regular season.
There's no question that these teams are evenly matched during their respective playoff runs to get to this point, and with the momentum and home ice advantage in Game 4, I believe simply from a value perspective, that Montreal is the correct call as far as the money line is concerned.
