This is a 10* GAME OF THE WEEK on the Alouettes.

Winnipeg is 8-0 straight up. It's the two-time defending Grey Cup Champion, but I think it's going to finally run out of gas on the road here vs. this hungry Alouettes side.

The Bombers are also 6-2 ATS, including having won four straight against-the-spread. This is the opener of a home and home set for these teams, so the Als need to buckle down here at home if they're going to avoid a two-game sweep. Off their 24-17 road loss in Hamilton last weekend, I like the Als to, at the very least, keep this one close enough to earn a comfortable cover.

Zach Collaros has been great for Winnipeg, so far he has 1,994 passing yards, 15 touchdowns and five interceptions.

But Trevor Harris did well in defeat for the Als last week as well, throwing for 288 yards and a TD, as well as rushing for 39 more.

Montreal's weak point? Its defense, which allows 27.6 PPG. It's strength? Its offense, which averages 27.3 PPG (Winnipeg averages 26.9 PPG, while allowing 17.8.)

Winnipeg won outright as dog last weekend despite some injury issues. I say that comes back to hurt it this weekend though.

I'm banking on the hungrier home side keeping this one very competitive. The outright is possible, but let's grab the points.
