Tampa played a two-game mini-series with Toronto and it went 1-1, with both games going UNDER the number.

Detroit enters this series having gone just 2-4 in its last six, while also having seen the total go UNDER the number in seven straight.

Tampa hands the ball to Jeffrey Springs, who is 3-3 with a 2.70 ERA, who started off dominantly, but who then slipped and got put on the IL for a couple weeks. He's returned and posted a couple of pedestrian outings, most recently allowing three runs over ive innings in a no-decision to the Guardians on Friday.

Drew Hutchinson gets the nod for the home side and he's 1-4 with a 4.53 ERA this season. He's 4-2 with a 5.56 ERA in 11 career matchups vs. Tampa.

We have little faith in either starter, and we're expecting these teams to finally plate some runs.
