Atlanta has now seen the total go OVER the number in seven straight after yesterday's 9-7 victory here. Boston has seen the total go OVER in four of its last five.

These teams have been playing to several higher-scoring games of late, but all signs finally point to more of a "DUEL" here on Wednesday.

Note that Atlanta has in fact seen the total go UNDER the number in eight of its last 11 after playing to five or more straight OVERS in a row.

Kyle Wright is 13-5 with a 3.22 ERA for the Braves. He has a 1.17 WHIP, and if you check his "splits," you see that he's been at his best in all "NIGHT" games, going he's 4-2 with a 3.96 ERA in all DAY games, and 9-3 with a 2.86 ERA in all NIGHT contests.

Nick Pivetta is 8-8 with a 4.51 ERA for the Red Sox. He has a 1.13 WHIP and we're expecting the veteran to "up" the level of his play here throwing opposite Wright and facing the defending champs.

We're expecting a classic "battle" here between these starters and ultimately we expect that to help in driving this total UNDER the posted number once it's all said and done.
