The Minnesota Twins offense has picked up where they left off last season putting up thirteen runs in splitting their first two games. The problem for the Twins has been their pitching staff. The Twins pitchers have given up 15 runs in two games including 10 yesterday in a 10-3 loss. Kenta Maeda will try and keeps the Sox bats in check when he takes the mound for today's game. Last season, he went 10-8 with a 4.04 ERA and 169 strikeouts.
The Chicago White Sox showed why they have people talking about them as the offense exploded for 10 runs yesterday against the Twins. The Sox will counter with Reynaldo Lopez taking the mound. Lopez had a down year last season, as he went just 10-15 with a 5.38 era and 169 strikeouts.
The White Sox offense has been what people expected maybe even a little better. Lopex did not have a great year last season but has looked better this spring/summer. He may only get a few starts if he can't show some improvement. The Twins have shown they can hit but have not sown the can get people out consistently. Maeda can be hit and I see him getting hit today. I love the Sox at +money.
