Result: Push
Cincinnati last played on Friday and came away with an 8-1 win over Pittsburgh. The reds offense has started to look like the offense that had people projecting them to be a contender. Free-agent signee Nick Castellanos has started to put things together at the plate hitting eight home runs, and he has driven in nineteen. Jesse Winker has five home runs and eight runners driven in. The Reds will turn to Luis Castillo. for the start. In four starts, he has posted an 0-2 record with a 3.91 ERA and 31 strikeouts in 23.0 innings.

Kansas City is coming off a four-game series with the Milwaukee brewers in which they dropped three of four. The Royals will send Brad Keller to the mound. He has started twice this season, posting a 2-0 record and has not allowed an earned run in 11 innings.

The Reds are 5-1 in their last six games as a road favorite and 6-2 in their last eight games overall as a favorite. The Royals are 103-215 in their last 318 games as an underdog and 17-36 in their last 53 games as a home underdog.
Keller has been stellar this season and would be easy to go with him as a big dog. Castillo can match Keller pitch for pitch and the Reds have a better heating team than does the Royals. Keller will keep it close but the Reds will get a couple off the pen and win this game covering the run-line.

Play on Cincinnati on the run-line(minus 1.5 runs.)
