The LA Clippers hold a 2-1 lead over the Dallas Mavericks heading into Game 4. The Clippers are coming off 130-122 win in game three. Kawhi Leonard had another big night for the Clips, putting up 36 points, pulling down nine rebounds and dishing out eight assists. He got support from others not named Paul George with Landry Shamet adding 18 points, and Ivica Zubac with 15. Paul George had another poor shooting night and finished with just 11 points. Patrick Beverley sat out the game with a calf injury and is listed as doubtful for Sunday.

The Dallas Mavericks will have their fingers crossed the Luka Doncic will be available. He suffered an ankle sprain in the loss in Game 3. The Mavs were led by Kristaps Porzingis with 34 points and 13 rebounds. Tim Hardaway Jr. and Seth Curry stepped up and scored 22 points apiece. Even though injured, Doncic ended with 13 points with 10 rebounds and 10 assists. Doncic is considered a game-time decision for Sunday.

George had another poor shooting night but even so, the Clips should be brimming with confidence. The loss of Doncic, if unable to play, will be a blow but the Mavs know they must win this one and hope Doncic can return. The Mavericks will be playing with a chip on their shoulder and I expect them to keep it within the number.
