NBA BUBBLE BUSTER "POP" goes the BOOKS
(NBA) Denver vs. LA Clippers,
Point Spread: -8.50 | -110.00 LA Clippers (Home)
Result: Win
The Denver Nuggets luckily got by the Utah Jazz in game seven, surviving a last-second three attempt, a shot the Jazz shouldn't have had. The Nuggets offense is led by Jamal Murray with 31.6 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 6.3 assists a game. Nikola Jokic added 26.3 points, 8.1 rebounds, and 5.4 assists. Michael Porter Jr. chipped in 12.0 points and 7.0 rebounds.

The Los Angeles Clippers were able to take down the upstart Dallas Mavericks in six games and will come into this game well-rested. The offense is led by Kawhi Leonard with 32.8 points, 10.2 rebounds, 5.2 assists. Paul George started out the series in a shooting slump but finished the series with 18.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 4.0 assists. Lou Williams added 16.0 points and 4.3 assists off the bench.

The Clippers put up 126 points in their series and the Nuggets averaged 110. The Clippers beat the Nuggets in two of three meetings in the regular season. The Clips have people to slow Murray down even with Patrick Beverley being listed as questionable for Game 1. The Nuggets looked tired in Game seven and have to play without much rest. I like the rested Clippers to come out and set the tone early in trying to stop Murray from getting hot. Fatigue will be a factor late and the Clips get the win and cover.

Play on the LA Clippers.
