UCF will be opening its season when they take on Georgia Tech.Last season, they finished with a 10-3 overall record and 6-2 in the American Athletic Conference. Georgia Tech started out the season with a 16-13 win over Florida State. Last season, they finished just 3-9 last season overall and 2-6 in the ACC. The Yellow Jackets went 1-5 over their first six games. In the three games they won, they won by a combined 13 points. In the win over FSU, quarterback Jeff Sims threw for 277 yards with a touchdown and two interceptions, he also led the team in rushing with 64 yards on 13 carries.

Georgia Tech has a more balanced team on the offensive side of the ball this season. They have a game under their belt against what was considered a good team. This will be UCF's first game of the season and I like Georgia Tech to stay close in this one.
