The Indians finished the regular season at 35-25. Cleveland was hot down the stretch, winning eight of their last ten. Cleveland's strength all season has been their pitching staff. Their offense was led by Jose Ramirez with a .287 batting average, to go with 17 homers, and he drove in 46. Cesar Hernandez hit .283 batting average and drove in 20. Shane Bieber will take the mound for the Indians in game one. He finished the regular season at 8-1 with a 1.63 ERA over 12 starts.

The Yankees have been battling injuries all year to their regular day lineup. Cole has been really good this season and should keep the Yankees in the game. Bieber has been outstanding and the Yankees will struggle to do anything against Bieber. This game will be close going into the later innings and the Cleveland staff as a whole is a notch above the Yankees.
