Point Spread: -6.50 | -115.00 Seattle (Home)

The Minnesota Vikings and Seattle Seahawks face off in a Week 5 Sunday Night Football showdown at CenturyLink Field. The Vikings have not played well this season especially on the defensive side of the ball. They were able to secure a win last week over the Houston Texans. The Vikings revamped their defense especially the secondary and they are going through some growing pains and it shows in them allowing 31.2 points a game. Quarterback Kirk Cousins is having a typical Kirk Cousins season, he can look terrific or look horrible. He does have a weapon in wide receiver Justin Jefferson who has gone over 100 yards in each of the last two games. Cook is always a threat out of the backfield.
The Seattle Seahawks have been perfect this season straight up and against the spread this season at 4-0. The Seahawks offense has been awesome this season, putting up 35.5 points per game while the defense is giving up 27.2 points per game. The Seahawks running game needs to step up to past season levels as arson has been nicked here and there with injuries. Russel Wilson is turning in another MVP type season at quarterback and willing this team to victories.
The Vikings are 6-15 against the spread in their last 18 games against teams with a winning record. The Seahawks are 5-2-1 against the spread in their last eight games against teams with losing records. Seattle's offense should be able to feast against the Vikings secondary. Cousins seems to struggle in these Prime time match-ups. Take Seattle to cover in this one.
