New England has lost four straight after a loss to Buffalo in their last outing. The Patriots offense ranks 30th in the league in passing offense and third in the league in rushing and is scoring 19.4 points while giving up 23.9 points. The offense is led by Cam Newton with 1,143 passing yards to go with two touchdowns and seven interceptions. He leads also leads the team in rushing with 298 yards plus six scores on the ground. The rushing attack is led by Damien Harris with 279 yards with a touchdown. Rex Burkhead had added 180 yards and two touchdowns. The receiving corps is led by Julian Edelman with 315 yards) Damiere Byrd has 272 yards and running back James White 171 yards.

The New York Jets woes continue as they enter this game as the league’s lone winless team. The Jets offense is last in the league in passing offense and 22nd in the league in rushing. They are putting up just 11.8 points and are giving up 29.8 points. The offense is led by Sam Darnold with 1,045 passing yards to go with three touchdowns and six interceptions. He has rushed for 138 yards with a touchdown. Joe Flacco has thrown for 397 yards with a touchdown and an interception. Flacco is expected to get the start. The rushing attack is led by Frank Gore with 340 yards and La’Mical Perine has added 150 yards and a touchdown. Jamison Crowder is the leading receiver with 346 yards and two touchdowns while Braxton Berrios has 210 yards and two scores.

New England scored at least 30 points in two of their first three games but their 21 points against the Bills was the most they’ve had in the last four contests. New York has scored more than 20 points just once while they have been held to 13 points or less in six of their eight contests. These two offenses don't inspire confidence no matter who they are going against.
