The Phoenix Suns come into this game having won 12 of their last 16 games. As a team, the Suns are putting up 113.9 points on 48.9 percent shooting from the field and 38.2 percent from deep. On the defensive end, they are giving up 107.4 points a game and their opponents are shooting 45.8 percent from the field and 34.4 percent from deep. The offense is led by Devin Booker with 25.1 points and he dishes out 4.7 assists a game.
The Toronto Raptors have been heading in the wrong direction having lost 11 of their last 13 games. As a team, the Raptors are putting up 112.5 points and are shooting 44.8 percent from the field and 38 percent from deep. On the defensive end, they are giving up 112.4 points and their opponents are shooting 45.9 percent from the field and 37.7 percent from deep. The offense is led by Fred VanVleet with 20.1 points and 4.3 a game with Pascal Siakam adding 20 points and 4.7 assists.
The Suns are 20-7 ATS in their last 27 road games and 37-14 ATS in their last 51 games overall and 19-6-1 ATS in the last 26 meetings against Toronto.
The Raptors are coming off a big win over Denver but I am not putting that down to how well they are playing( 11 losses in last 13 games) but the fact of trade rumors surrounding their top players. Phoenix is coming off a tough 1 point loss to the hapless Magic but is coming off wins against the Lakers and Heat. This is their third game in four nights but the last two games have been in Florida and since Toronto is playing in Tampa this season Phoenix doesn't have far to travel. Also, the Suns' starters have played just over 30 minutes a game the last three games and high twenties in their win over Miami so rest should not be a problem. The Raptors also traded away Norman Powell who had stepped up this season. Toronto kept Lowry but I am not convinced that is a good thing.
I like the Suns to get out to a big lead early and cover the number.
