The Pirates will counter with Trevor Cahill making the start. He has posted a 7.11 ERA in 19.0 with 19 strikeouts and five walks. Flaherty has a 4-0 record with a 1.50 ERA over his last four starts. He went 2-0 with a 2.08 ERA against the Pirates last year. Cahill has been inconsistent this season. When he is on he has been great, when he is not on he has been terrible. I will take the more consistent pitcher and the better offense in this one.
