The Atlanta Braves and the Washington Nationals finish off their three-game set today. The Braves will be going for a sweep of the series after winning the first two games. The Braves will go for the sweep by sending Drew Smyly to the mound. He has not pitched well this season, posting an 8.06 ERA in 19.0 innings with 18 strikeouts and seve walks. The Nationals will counter with Jon Lester taking the mound. He has made one start, going 5 shutout innings against the Marlins. Lester pitched well in his first start, but that can't be said about his counterpart. Smyly, he’s given up 15 earned runs and eight homers in his last three starts in just 13.0 innings. The Nationals will be motivated to avoid getting swept by at home. The Nationals should be able to score off of Smyly and Lester should be able to keep the Braves in check.
