He has posted a 3-1 record with a 2.20 ERA and 39 strikeouts this season. Against the Braves he is 0-0 with a 2.25 ERA and 10 strikeouts. The Atalanta Braves are also coming off a loss, dropping a 10-9 decision to the Milwaukee Brewers on Sunday. They will counter with Max Fried on the mound. He is 1-1 with a 6.55 ERA and 24 strikeouts this season. Against the Mets, he is 3-1 with a 2.88 ERA and 52 strikeouts. Both starters are starting to turn things around with Walker allowing hitters to bat just .170 against him and Fried has had three good starts after getting rocked early this season. In Walker's seven starts, the Mets have not allowed more than four runs.
