The Dallas Mavericks came in and took Game one from the Clippers to steal home court. They took Game one 113-103 with Luka Doncic having a triple-double of 31 points with 10 rebounds and 11 assists, Tim Hardaway Jr. had 21 points while Dorian Finney-Smith added 18 points. The Mavericks shot 17 of 36 from the 3-point line. On the Clipper's side, Kawhi Leonard had 26 points, 10 rebounds, five assists while Paul George added 23 points with six rebounds and five assists. The Clippers shot just 11 of 40 from the 3-point line. The Clippers had no answer for Doncic and I expect Leonard to get the call to shut him down on the defensive end. This could take away from his offensive output but The Claw is needed to slow Doncic down. The Clippers need to shoot better from three and I would expect them to. The Mavs bench stepped up big in Game 1 and will need to perform like that today. The Clips will win this game but Dallas keeps it close and covers the number.
