The Tigers are having a surprising season so far and will look to keep things going by sending Casey Mize to the mound. He has posted a 3.28 ERA with 47 strikeouts and 20 walks in 57.2 innings. Despite all their injuries, the White Sox are still producing runs. The Sox will look to keep things going by sending Lance Lynn to the mound. Lymm has been a lot better than expected this season. He was brought in to eat up innings but has posted a 6-1 record with a 1.20 ERA this season.

Detroit has gone under in Mize's last four starts as an underdog and 4-0-1 in his last five starts against AL Central. Chicago has gone under in six of their last seven Thursday games. These two teams have gone under in 9 of their last 13 matchups. Detroit will struggle to score off of Lynn and I like Mize to have some sadness and will hold my breath with the Tigers pen.
